Junior High School

Junior high school, or middle school, usually 6th or 7th through 8th or 9th grade, depending on the school district. Junior high school subjects cover mathematics, english, history, science, physical education, and art. If students struggle in middle school it is often in the main subjects of math, science, or english. Junior high can also be a difficult transition time period as students get used to more independent work and faster paced course work.
